Neal P. Pollack, MBA
Vice President


Neal joined Model Consulting, Inc. in February 2005 and is well versed in finance, risk management, healthcare and pharmaceutical management. Prior to joining Model Consulting, Inc., Neal spent six years working in New York City in the financial markets, working both in equity and fixed income markets, finishing his career as a fixed income trader and electronic trading specialist.

Since joining Model Consulting, Inc., Neal has been instrumental in growing our pharmacy and health risk management practices, as well as our core employee benefits practice. He was the lead consultant on a pharmacy Contract Compliance Audit for the 17 th largest employer in the United States. During this audit various components of the clients drug plan and paid claims were reviewed, including: Generic/Brand Utilization; Retail/Mail/Specialty Utilization; Discount Analysis; Co-Pays & Dispensing Fees; Refill Analysis and Plan Design Analysis.

Neal also worked as a consultant on a feasibility and risk management study for the implementation of a Consumer Driven Health Plan for a 3,000 employee company, spread across seven states. With this, various factors were addressed, including: Plan Design & Modeling; Network Accessibility; Plan Decrements; Pricing Illustrations; and Final Recommendations.

Working in both the public and private sector as well as various industries, Neal has experience working with both middle and large market clients, including a 14,000 life group. Meshing the employee benefits and health risk management programs for a cohesive platform, has allowed Neal and his clients to achieve a true understanding of their cost drivers and provide a solid ROI for the programs set forth.

Being an executive within our sister health risk management company, WellNow, has allowed Neal to further grow his knowledge and application of true risk management related to healthcare. This includes working in various industries within both the public and private sector and leveraging technology as a way to monitor the true ROI of our programs. Neal has sat as both a member and moderator of various roundtables and discussions on managing risk in healthcare.

Neal has an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA in Finance. He is a member of the Mid Atlantic Venture Capital Alliance and volunteers his time as a board member for the Business and Technology Advisory within Philadelphia Academies. Philadelphia Academies, Inc. is a non-profit organization that expands life and economic options for Philadelphia public school students through career-focused programming that prepares young people for employment and post-secondary education.
