Sherri Model
After spending 15 years as a District Sales Manager in the fashion industry, Sherri Model joined Model Consulting, Inc. in 1997, bringing her expertise in sales, human resource management, and facility supervision.
Upon receiving her Life, Health & Accident licenses and gaining experience in the company’s National Accounts department, Sherri became Operations Manager, where her diverse organizational, time management, and employee relations skills sparked Model’s growth and development.
In 2005, Sherri received a promotion to Vice President. Her versatile background allows Sherri to capably handle an array of responsibilities, such as facilities management, recruitment, human resource management, and oversight of matters related to accounting and technology.
Among other specific duties, Sherri supervises the customer relationship management (CRM) and accounting databases, takes care of all aspects of broker contracting and licensing, hires and trains new employees, and develops human resource policies such as alternative work schedules and employee incentive programs.
When Model purchased and moved into its current building featuring 20,000 square feet of space, she spearheaded the project one of her many noteworthy accomplishments and she presently manages the facility.
In terms of industry organizations, Sherri belongs to the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Penjerdel Employee Benefits & Compensation Association (PEBA).
Sherri resides in Yardley, PA, and enjoys a rich and varied life outside the office as well. A certified spin instructor, she also teaches aerobics and enjoys music and theater. She also participates each year in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure promoting breast cancer awareness, and actively supports other charities, such as the American Red Cross, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the ALS Association, and the Autism Society of America.
